12 Sep 2012 - 21 Dec 2012
National Gallery of Canada Library and Archives
The Library of the National Gallery of Canada has now been collecting books and other materials on art for about 100 years. This exhibition delves into the archives to shed light on how Eric Brown, the Gallery’s first Director, went about building a research collection from scratch, and displays some of his early finds which are now treasured items in the collection.
Open during Library Reading Room hours.
