Gallery Rules

  • Look at the art with your eyes, not your hands.
  • Eat and drink in the NGC Café or Sketches, not in the galleries.
  • Pay attention to your guide, not your smartphone.
  • Walk; do not run
  • Stay with your group leader

Arriving at the Gallery

Bring your students into the Tour Group Lobby in an orderly fashion and instruct them to leave backpacks, coats etc. in the school programs cloakroom (located in the north corner of the Tour Group Lobby).

To check in, have the group leader bring the confirmation letter and method of payment to the Visitor Services desk in the Tour Group Lobby. The Visitor’s Service representative will process payment and advise you of your next steps.

Don’t be late! Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your program start time. If delayed, call 613-990-4888. If you arrive 20 or more minutes late, your program will be cancelled and you will be charged a cancellation fee of $70.00 per interpreter booked for your group.
