National Gallery of Canada Announces New Director, Public Affairs

The National Gallery of Canada is pleased to announce the arrival of Joanne Charette as the new Director, Public Affairs. Ms. Charette will join the National Gallery's Senior Management team starting on 10 October 2000.
A seasoned communications specialist, Joanne Charette was head of the Communications Services Division of the Canadian Museum of Nature for the past four years and a member of various senior committees. Prior to that time, she has worked and taught in several public agencies in the fields of public relations, marketing, strategic planning and information publications.
As Director, Public Affairs, Joanne Charette will be responsible for the National Gallery of Canada's Marketing and Communications, Education and Public Programs, Publications, and Visitor Services divisions.
