Henri Cartier-Bresson |

Frenchman Henri Cartier-Bresson used a 35-mm camera and short exposures to capture the "decisive moment" of a scene. His photographs appear almost accidental, revealing aspects of ordinary life unseen by the eye. Cartier-Bresson used his camera as an extension of his eye. He composed each shot in the viewfinder and made exposures in quick succession. |
