Process the film
Unload the exposed film from the camera in complete darkness.
Use a can opener to pop off the end of the film canister.
Remove the film from the canister and trim the end.
Thread the film onto the film spool, using a twisting motion.
Trim off the empty canister spool.
Put the film spool into the film tank.
Insert the funnel.
Set your timer.
Pour the developer into the tank.
Put the lid on the tank.
Agitate the tank for the required developing time.
Pour out the developer.
Pour the stop bath into the tank.
Agitate the tank for a few seconds, to stop development. Then pour out the stop bath.
Pour in the fixer. Agitate the tank for the required time. Then pout out the fixer.
Remove the film spool from the tank.
Put the film spool in the washing tank and wash thoroughly with running water.
Remove the film spool from the washing tank.
Pour a capful of Kodak Photo-Flo solution into the tank filled with water.
Dip the film into the Kodak Photo-Flo solution. Hang the film to dry in a dust free environment.
Make an enlargement
Select a negative to enlarge.
Remove dust from the negative.
Put the negative in the negative holder.
Put the negative holder into the enlarger.
Set the f-stop on the enlarger lens. Set the timer.
Under safe light conditions, put the paper in the easel.
Using the grain focuser and the focusing knob on the enlarger, focus the grain of the negative onto the paper. Expose the paper.
Process the Print
Put the paper in the developer tray and agitate slightly, using the tongs. Watch the image appear!
Put the paper in the fixer tray and agitate slightly for the required time.
Put the paper in the stop bath and agitate slightly.
Put the paper in the wash bath and rinse thoroughly.
