A pinhole camera can be as simple and inexpensive as a cardboard box with a pinhole in a thin sheet of metal. This image was made in a large six-sided box with a pinhole in each side and a long sheet of film wrapped around a cylinder inside. Six 60-degree images of the scene overlap and double expose into each other in proportion to the intensity of the light reaching the film. |
