Camera Obscura Image of Times Square, New York, 1997

An ordinary hotel room was turned into a camera to capture the image of this famous square. The windows were covered with black plastic. Light entered through a hole less than half an inch in diameter. The image was documented using a large-format camera set up inside the room. The exposure took about eight hours.
