Light Facts

Light is a form of energy. Most of the things we see do not give off light. They reflect it from other sources. When the reflected light enters our eyes, we see the object.

Light travels in straight lines.

It can be reflected off objects.

It can be bent, or refracted, when it passes from one transparent substance to another (e.g. from air into water).
