Joseph Légaré |
|
A self-taught artist, Joseph Légaré learned his trade by painting, among other things, stained-glass windows and signs. An accomplished painter, he served as mentor to the artist Antoine Plamondon. He is best known for painting religious scenes, landscapes and historical scenes but never lost interest in the contemporary issues of his era.
