The size of these works is certainly their main distinguishable feature. The work of Jessie Oonark measures more than a metre high by three metres wide. It is two times higher and nearly four times wider than the work of Tulurialik.
While both artists do not observe western rules of perspective, their treatment of the work's surface is another important distinguishable feature. Tulurialik fills the entire drawing surface with small delicate strokes of contrasting colours.
The two artists know each other well. Jessie Oonark encouraged Tulurialik to pursue her drawing career.
