Summary

After exploring works by the Group of Seven, students will work in groups together to create a mural composition based on their personal understanding of Canadian identity.

Theory:

Students will work as a group to manipulate and organize elements and principles of design to plan a mural.

Creation:

Students will produce a large-scale mural that expresses group intent.

Analysis:

Students will explain how the dimensions of an artwork impact the creation and viewing of artworks.
