Theory Criterion
|
The student is unable to identify primary and secondary colours, the various kinds of lines, or geometric and organic shapes. |
The student is able to identify one or two colours, one or two kinds of lines and one or two shapes. |
The student is able to identify three or four colours, three or four kinds of lines and three or four shapes. |

Creation Criterion
|
The student does not explain the choices he/she made during the creation process. |
The student explains the choices he/she made during the creation process by providing one example. |
The student explains the choices he/she made during the creation process by providing two or three examples. |

Analysis Criterion
|
In a group discussion, the student does not provide any example to explain how the elements of design are used to communicate ideas and feelings. |
In a group discussion, the student provides one example to explain how the elements of design are used to communicate ideas and feelings. |
In a group discussion, the student provides at least two examples to explain how the elements of design are used to communicate ideas and feelings. |
