Experimenting with light :
American artists from the 60?s and 70?s questioned the very nature of what art is and what it could be made of as well as the process of making it. To understand how different sources of light affect objects and their surrounding surfaces, students will experiment with light to create specific environments. The activity will reinforce the importance of light as an element in academic and contemporary works of art.
