03 Creating source images

The source images can be turned into stencils in a variety of ways.

The first method illustrated is using a photo-positive. Here an image can be photocopied on a clear acetate sheet, creating a black and white image. This demonstration uses a floral
motif on a sheet with a circular area cut away.
