The frames are made of kiln-dried woods such as pine, redwood, spruce or poplar. Aluminum frames are also available. The size of the frames can be very large depending on the length, width and strength of the available fabrics. The fabric must be very tight on the frame otherwise the image will blur and the registration will be poor.
