Another Facet to Adaskin 75th

An announcement of a performance by Murray Adaskin at the University of Victoria. Adaskin?s composition, In Praise of ?Canadian Painting in the Thirties? will be performed for the first time in Western Canada. Murray and Francis Adaskin have a comprehensive private collection of Canadian art. The Chamber Players of Toronto commissioned the composition in 1975, as a tribute to Canadian Painting in the Thirties, organized by the National Gallery of Canada.
