Announcement of the opening of the Canadian Painting in the Thirties exhibition, at the National Gallery of Canada from January 31 to March 2, 1975. The exhibition traces the evolution of painting in Canada from the nationalist milieu of Toronto to the internationalist school of Montréal. It will be opened by the Rt. Hon. Pierre Elliott Trudeau on January 30, 1975 at 9 p.m. The exhibition includes more than 100 works. A bilingual catalogue including seven studies, reproductions of all the works and documentary photographs of the artists will be available at the National Gallery.
