An announcement of the National Gallery of Canada?s upcoming exhibition Canadian Painting in the Thirties, to be held from 31 January to 2 March, and officially opened on 30 January by Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. The exhibition will include over 100 works, with a catalogue published in both official languages and including reproductions of the works, documentary photographs and essays. Those attending the opening reception are invited to dress in the spirit of the 1930s.
